Ophidia Spathe

Ophidia Spathe is an Exotic chest armor piece for Hunters, introduced in Season 3.

Overview

Its intrinsic perk, Scissor Fingers, grants two throwing knives per charge. Throwing-knife final blows grant consecutive knives a temporary stacking damage bonus, and Gambler's Dodge refreshes its timer. Bungie increased the maximum PvE throwing-knife damage bonus to 200% with The Edge of Fate (July 15, 2025).

Acquisition

• Random Exotic Engram drops and extremely rare world drops.
• Master Rahool offers Novel Focusing for past-expansion Exotic armor, available without a reputation-track reset since July 15, 2025. Xûr's earlier price of 23 Legendary Shards is no longer current.
