History of Nigh II

Overview

Nigh II is a lore Triumph in Destiny 2 tied to the Marasenna lore book, added with Forsaken in August 2018. It follows Nigh I in the book.

Lore

Mara tells her former captain, Alis Li, what she did. She made a choice that Alis would otherwise have made, costing tens of thousands of Awoken their immortality. Mara asks for forgiveness, and Alis calls it unforgivable. Alis still agrees to support Mara's fleet, out of hatred and to hasten Mara's departure. The scene ends with Alis throwing a pitcher of tea over her and going inside.

How to complete

The triumph is three Corrupted Eggs in the Ouroborea Ascendant Challenge #1, in Aphelion's Rest. Eggs can only be destroyed with the Wish-Ender.

1. Equip the Wish-Ender and start the Ouroborea Ascendant Challenge while it is active.
2. Egg 1: from the central statue, turn right and look over the edge. The egg is in the distance below the platform.
3. Egg 2: from the statue, turn left and walk past the tree. Cross the circular platform and drop to the lower bridge on the right, past a set of disconnected stairs. The egg glows in the distance.
4. Egg 3: from the statue, turn right and follow the grassy bridge around the curving path to a tree on your left. Jump the gap, take the left path, and go to the platform edge. The egg sits between the prongs of a building.

Eggs hidden behind walls can be seen by fully drawing an arrow.
