Alis Li

Overview

Alis Li was the captain of the colony ship ''Yang Liwei'' before it entered the Distributary pocket dimension during the Collapse. Reborn as one of the Awoken, she was regarded as their first and became the first Awoken queen.

Lore

Alis Li is most closely tied to Mara Sov, who had been the first to enter the Distributary and reject the Awoken's claim to godhood. Mara later confessed to Alis that she had orchestrated the Theodicy War to make the Awoken feel guilty enough to accept her plan to leave. Alis regarded Mara as dangerous and backed her departure. After the war Alis gave up the throne and withdrew, though she kept some influence over her people.

She first appears in the lore of Destiny 2: Forsaken, where Shuro Chi calls her the very first of the queens.
