Nadir

Nadir is a weapon foundry (manufacturer) in Destiny 2. Little is known about its origins; the Grimoire card for Nemesis Star indicates much about the foundry is mysterious to the people of the Last City.

Nadir weapons generally follow a naming scheme of a scientific term followed by a three-letter alpha code, such as Impulse ESc or Baryon MSc. In Season of the Witch, Nadir was given a foundry origin trait and a new logo.

Notable Nadir weapons include the auto rifle Origin Story, the hand cannon Better Devils, the pulse rifle Nightshade and the exotic machine gun Nemesis Star. The foundry first appeared in The Taken King, with presence in Rise of Iron, and returned in Destiny 2 across Curse of Osiris, Forsaken, Season of the Witch and The Final Shape.
