Meridi and Didyo, The Assimilating Minds

'''Meridi and Didyo, the Assimilating Minds''' are a Vex Minotaur boss in The Gorge on Kepler, sitting behind an immunity shield. They are a Vex Mind of the Nessian Schism who oversee the Radiolaria assimilating Kepler into a Machine World. Defeating them stalls that process, and they are the target of the The Gorge Strangelet quest. They can also be defeated during Kepler patrols for a loot cache.

The fight requires destroying the Cyclops and Vex Lens that power the shield. The Mind is vulnerable until it reaches half health, then summons a new lens and brings in Goblins and security lasers. The path is cleared by killing the two Hobgoblins guarding a Mattermorph, which is used to build a route above the lasers before the Cyclops and lens are destroyed again.
