History of Memory of Eriana-3

Overview

Memory of Eriana-3 is a weekly quest from Eris Morn in the Sanctuary on the Moon. It recovers a memento of a fallen fireteam member whose Nightmare haunts her. Part of Luna's Calling, the five-quest weekly chain from Eris Morn added with the Shadowkeep expansion (Season 8). The chain is: Memory of Sai Mota, Memory of Vell Tarlowe, Memory of Toland, the Shattered, Memory of Omar Agah and Memory of Eriana-3; one new memory is available after each weekly reset. Sources are from the Shadowkeep era; check in-game that the quest is still obtainable, since Moon content was later moved into the Destiny Content Vault.

Walkthrough

1. On the Moon, loot a chest from a Hive Lunar Scavenger or Fallen Lunar Scavenger.
2. Collect Eriana-3's lost letters from Wei Ning (0/10): using a Solar subclass, defeat Champions in any activity of Advanced difficulty or higher.
3. Return the letters to Eris Morn.
4. Collect your reward from the chest in the Enduring Abyss.

Trivia

• Eriana-3 and Eris Morn sought another way to kill Crota before the expedition (per Ishtar Collective, quoted by ras117mike).
