Marking the Spot

Overview

Marking the Spot is a Triumph worth 20 Triumph Score from Season of Plunder. It requires unlocking the bonus chests in Expedition with each map type.

How to complete

1. Launch Expedition from the H.E.L.M..
2. Restore a treasure map in the Captain's Atlas using Map Fragments and Treasure Coordinates. A map can be restored any time before you are forced to leave the activity.
3. With a map restored, dig up the bonus chest at one of the mounds marked with Eliksni symbols. Digging it consumes the map. The chest's rewards vary by map but always include Plundered Umbral Energy.
4. Repeat with each map type to complete the triumph. The types include the armor-focused and weapon-focused maps, the Plundered Umbral Energy map, and the Rumored Treasure Map. The Rumored Treasure Map is unlocked through the Captain's Atlas and lets you use a map your crewmates heard rumors about once a week.

Guides from Season of Plunder (2022) name the map types slightly differently, so the names in the game may vary from those listed here.
