'''Lost Prophecies''' are a weapon-crafting system from Curse of Osiris. Osiris wrote them on six-sided tablets; each verse, once fulfilled, lets a Guardian craft a Vex-inspired Legendary weapon at The Infinite Forge on Mercury.

== Unlocking ==

Finish the Curse of Osiris campaign, complete the Mercury Adventures "The Up and Up", "The Runner" and "Bug in the System", then complete one Heroic Adventure. Brother Vance in the Lighthouse then gives Lost Prophecy, Verse 1. Shacknews reports that only three tablets can be bought from him per week.

Verses are charged with materials gathered across the game:

• '''Advanced Paradox Amplifier''': earned from Strikes, the Crucible and Mercury Heroic Adventures.
• '''Fossilized Hermaion Blossom''': from Nightfall Strikes, Trials of the Nine and Heroic Strikes (per Shacknews).

Brother Vance can convert 10 green offerings plus Legendary Shards into one blue offering.

The eleventh weapon is Perfect Paradox per Destinypedia, which says one verse references it; Shacknews, written earlier, listed the 11th as unknown. Completing every weapon grants Sagira's Shell, a playable version of Osiris's Ghost. The prophecies were written by Osiris using the Infinite Forest.
