History of Looping Catalyst

Overview

Looping Catalyst is a Triumph in Destiny 2 earned in the Vow of the Disciple Raid. The 'Looping Catalyst' challenge is worth 10 Triumph score and applies to the symbol-dunking phase on the stairs leading up to Rhulk.

How to complete

Use no more than one big crystal during the symbol-dunking phase on the stairs. Only one big crystal can be destroyed per phase. Pass the Leeching Force between players as the phase runs. Losing the Leeching Force debuff is the failure condition, because the team then has to shoot another big crystal, which spawns more Glyphkeepers. Once you enter Rhulk's arena, the challenge no longer applies.

Rewards

A 2022 guide reports that while the challenge is active, the extra Rhulk chest gives triple rewards.
