Io Engrams

Io Engrams are Legendary Faction Engrams from the Io faction. They are earned by raising reputation with Io.

Each engram gives one faction item, one faction shader and one extra reward. Either a faction weapon or a piece of faction armor drops, never both.

• Faction weapon: one of nine, including Valakadyn, Tarantula, Blue Shift, Berenger's Memory, Baligant, The Rattler, Widow's Bite, Shepherd's Watch and Unspoken Promise.
• Faction armor: one of five pieces, chosen by class. For Warlocks, Titans and Hunters this is a Gensym Knight piece.
• Faction shader: Echoes of Io or Flowers of Io, at 2x to 5x.
• Extra reward: Legendary Shards (3x to 7x), or a faction-agnostic Legendary Weapon or Legendary Armor.

The Attack or Defense value of the decrypted items equals the player's highest possible overall Light level, with a soft cap of 330.
