Inquisitors

Hive Inquisitors are a group of Hive enemies that appear as a random public event on Savathûn's Throne World during the Memory Alembic quest. Defeating them is one way to obtain Qualichor, the quest's key resource.

Overview

The event spawns in one of three zones on the Throne World each day. Players wait until the message "Lucent Hive Inquisitors in your sector" appears, which means the group is nearby. The event has a strict time limit and does not always appear.

Waves

The group fights in waves, each made of glowing Acolytes followed by a commander. Each defeated commander spawns another Acolyte wave nearby. After the third commander, three Lucent Hive Lightbearers spawn and must be defeated.

Rewards

Once the Lightbearers fall, a chest spawns containing Qualichor. Defeating Inquisitors also counts toward the daily progress reward for the Memory Alembic quest. Refined Qualichor opens a separate chest that holds Throne World loot and counts toward the Executioner's Hoard triumph.

The event was described in guides from the Witch Queen expansion (2022). Its spawn locations and wave counts may have changed since.
