History of Illusory Anchors

Illusory Anchors are hidden objects in Kell's Fall that must be broken to unlock the Slayer's Fang catalysts. They appear only after the mission has been completed once and only on Expert difficulty.

Overview

Anchors look like closed, translucent Hive shells. They are visible only while Slayer's Fang is equipped, and they must be shot with Slayer's Fang itself. Each of the four areas has three anchors.

Locations and catalysts

• Mirror Gallery, before the first encounter: Repulsor Brace.
• Fighting Pit, during the Mad Bomber encounter: Loose Change.
• Sanctum, during the Mindbender encounter: Stats for All.
• The final encounter against Fikrul: Cascade Point.

Unlocking

Break all three anchors in an area, then complete the mission on Expert. The catalyst quests are finished by talking to Eido in the Last City.
