Hive Sword

Overview

The Hive Sword is a relic used in the first encounter of Pit of Heresy. It is a special Hive Cleaver relic that drops from an Accursed Swordbearer in the room at the top of the first Necropolis tower. The Swordbearer respawns if you stay in that room too long, so the runes should be noted quickly.

Use

Each tower holds a Broken Blade miniboss. The sword is used on the Knight (Might of the Broken Blade) with its light melee attack, on the Wizard (Omen of the Broken Blade) with its heavy attack, which fires a damage-dealing projectile, and on the Shrieker (Oracle of the Broken Blade) by using guard to deflect its shots back at it.
