Hive Plate

The Hive Plate is a ritual plate that appears in the Path of Ambition questline. After reaching the structure surrounded by Blights along the route from the Trenchway, the Guardian enters Taken Portals to find Xvaak, a Hive Wizard and Waybearer, and defeats it with a Special or Heavy weapon.

With Xvaak down, the Guardian stands on the Hive Plate to disrupt the ritual. This dispels the Blights covering the entrance to the Core of Corruption and unseals the door. Entering the Core of Corruption leads to the survival encounter at the statue to "Embrace Ambition."
