Hive Acolyte

Hive Acolytes are the Hive's main infantry and foot soldiers. Unlike lesser Thralls, they actively use cover to avoid incoming fire and coordinate with other Hive to destroy targets. They fight with Shredders and Boomers, and in Destiny 2 they can summon and throw incendiary explosives similar to grenades. Some act as snipers with the Soulfire Rifle. Acolytes that survive long enough can become Wizards or Knights.
