Heavy Frame

Overview

The Heavy Frame is a class of Frame created by the Warmind Rasputin. Its job is to protect Rasputin's key assets and provide heavy support at Seraph Towers, Seraph Bunkers and Legendary Lost Sectors. Heavy Frames have yellow highlights. The Elite Heavy Frame has red highlights and pulsing Warmind energy nodes, and it is more powerful.

Abilities

Heavy Frames are immune to all damage, and bullets ricochet off them. Their primary fire is a large red energy beam that deals serious damage but struggles against Majors. As a last resort they glow, charge the nearest enemy and explode, dealing huge damage that easily kills Elites and leaves Champions with a sliver of health. Elite Heavy Frames fire faster and deal more damage.

Summoning

Heavy Frames can be summoned during Seraph Towers, Seraph Bunkers and Legendary Lost Sectors once the appropriate bunker upgrades are in place. They have a cooldown between summons and are summoned from specific platforms.

Appearances

They first appeared in Destiny 2's Season of the Worthy and also appear in Season of the Seraph. In the Abhorrent Imperative mission, Rasputin deploys Elite Heavy Frames to aid the Guardian. They do not self-destruct.
