Overview

Heartshadow Catalyst is the catalyst for the Heartshadow exotic Void sword, added in Season 17. Its triumph requires defeating targets with Heartshadow, 400 in total. The triumph itself awards no score.

Heartshadow's heavy attack grants invisibility and fires explosive Void projectiles, and it deals increased damage while invisible. The sword drops from the Duality dungeon at a low chance, and completing the dungeon's Exotic engram triumphs raises that chance.

How to complete

The catalyst is earned in Duality after Heartshadow is unlocked in Collections. The dungeon's special enemies each drop a Standard, and banking all three spawns the catalyst chest.

  1. After the large first chamber, re-enter the Nightmare, jump to the lower platform on the right, and kill the enemy. Grab its Standard before the timer runs out, then bank it on the symbol behind the bell.
  2. In the jumping puzzle after Gahlran, kill the enemy, which usually stands on a platform across the room. There is no timer. Turn the four statues to face the same direction, ring the bell, and bank the Standard on the platform.
  3. Before the Caiatl boss fight, kill the last enemy on the side platform past the secret chest. Return to the bell quickly, since a timer starts. Bank the Standard on the platforms before the drop to the boss chasm.

Banking the last Standard spawns a chest with the catalyst.

Catalyst effect

The catalyst's upgrade unlocks after 400 kills with Heartshadow. It adds the Wraithwalk perk, which makes you move faster while invisible. For faster kills, Shuro-Chi or Golgoroth encounters are commonly used.
