History of Heartshadow

Heartshadow is an Exotic Void Sword from the Duality dungeon, added with Destiny 2: Lightfall-era content (Season of the Haunted / Dawning era; verify in game). Lore says the Enactine blade passed between Emperor Calus and his daughter Caiatl.

Overview

Intrinsic perk: Exhumation. Heavy attacks made with full Sword energy turn you invisible and fire exploding Void projectiles. Exotic trait: Shot in the Dark boosts damage while invisible and weakens targets hit by the projectiles.

Acquisition

Random drop from the final encounter of the Duality Dungeon. It can drop on the first weekly clear, and dungeon triumphs raise the drop rate.

Catalyst

Obtained in the dungeon by collecting standards from enemies/mini-bosses between encounters and delivering them three times (the two sources word it differently). It adds the perk Wraithwalk (faster movement while invisible) and +6 ammo capacity.
