Gunpowder Component

Overview

The Gunpowder Component is a Triumph in Destiny 2 worth 25 score. It is tied to the Malediction ritual weapon, and its game text asks you to earn that weapon by ranking up with Gambit, Crucible or Vanguard Ops vendors.

How to complete

1. Reach Rank 16 with one of the ritual vendors: Commander Zavala (Vanguard Ops), Lord Shaxx (Crucible) or the Drifter (Gambit). Rank 16 needs 9,000 reputation.
2. Earn reputation through the ritual activities. Crucible's rotating playlist is the fastest farm.
3. Ornaments come from resetting a vendor rank and reaching Rank 16 again: Aged Allegiance (Vanguard), Seasoned Temper (Crucible) and Mulled Envy (Gambit). Competitive does not count toward Crucible rank.

After the Season of the Witch ended, the ornaments became available from the Exotic Kiosk for an Ascendant Shard and some Glimmer.
