History of Grandmaster: The Insight Terminus

Overview

Grandmaster: The Insight Terminus is a Triumph in Destiny 2. It is earned by completing The Insight Terminus Strike on Grandmaster difficulty, the Grandmaster Nightfall version of the strike. It awards 5 triumph score and counts toward the Conqueror seal.

The Insight Terminus is a Nightfall strike with Kargen as its boss. Its champions are Barrier and Unstoppable, and the Season of the Seraph Grandmaster rotation ran it from January 17 to 24.

How to complete

1. Queue The Insight Terminus on Grandmaster in its weekly Grandmaster rotation slot.
2. Bring Anti-Barrier and Unstoppable Champion mods. Kill the Psion snipers early and watch for Colossus units charging their minigun.
3. Handle the Barrier Champion near the entrance from range, then deal with the Psions. Kill Gladiators and War Beasts quickly, since they interrupt plate charging.
4. Kargen starts invulnerable. Stand on the central plate to make him vulnerable, then keep the plates active.
5. At half health Kargen becomes immune again. Activate all three plates, one centre and two sides, to make him vulnerable again.
6. Keep your Supers and heavy ammo for the moments he is vulnerable. Adds keep spawning after the plates are captured, but he stays vulnerable.
7. Finish the boss with Void weapons. Void weapons such as the Threaded Needle linear fusion rifle are recommended for the final burst.

Season

This triumph is labelled Season of the Chosen. Reported season names for the strike's Grandmaster rotation differ.
