Grandmaster: The Corrupted

Overview

Grandmaster: The Corrupted is a triumph in Destiny 2. It requires completing the The Corrupted Nightfall strike on Grandmaster difficulty. The Corrupted was in the Grandmaster rotation in Season of the Deep and was added to Nightfall: The Ordeal during Season of Arrivals.

How to complete

1. Launch The Corrupted on Grandmaster difficulty as the featured Nightfall.
2. Against the Taken Centurion boss, play at long range, because its orbs can kill in one hit.
3. In the elevator, pick up a shield-popping orb and pass it to a teammate to power it up.
4. Save your big Supers for the adds that spawn at each health gate, and follow the boss immediately when she teleports.

Tips

• Kill the Overload Champion on the right at the start of the strike.
• In the Twin Ogres section, avoid the Ascendant Plane until you need it.

Status

Bungie's Update 9.7.0 patch notes deprecated Nightfall-related triumphs and metrics. Progress already earned was kept, but this triumph can no longer be earned. Grandmaster Nightfalls had already been removed as a standalone rotation with Update 9.0.0.1, when Nightfalls moved to a daily rotation, and Grandmaster now appears as a difficulty tier in the matchmaking portal.
