Golem

Golem refers to Basilius the Golem, a Barant Cabal Colossus of the Red Legion and the final boss of Battleground: Hailstone in Season of the Chosen. The fight begins with the Rite of Proving, when Basilius and his troops join by Drop Pod. See that page for the full boss fight.

Overview

Basilius holds his position and fires a Power Slug Thrower, switching targets when one takes cover or dies. He sometimes fires Cluster Missiles to make a target more vulnerable. When approached, he creates a Quake that engulfs the area in Solar flame.

As his health and troops drop, he summons larger waves of Cabal. At each third of his health he summons a Shieldbearer, whose immunity shield must be killed before the fight can continue. Between thirds he summons a Portable Cabal Shield, which forces the fireteam into close quarters with him. The main strategy is to handle the reinforcements first and strike Basilius when he is alone.
