History of Glacial Drift

Glacial Drift is a landing zone in Hellas Basin on Mars, introduced with the Warmind expansion. It is first reached through icy caves connecting it with Olympus Descent during the opening campaign mission "Ice and Shadow".

Location

It lies south of the BrayTech Futurescape landing zone and connects to Olympus Descent, Dynamo Approach, Alton Dynamo and the Ma'adim Subterrane Lost Sector. The zone is home to Cabal and Hive enemies (the Red Legion and the Grasp of Nokris) and has five patrol beacons.

Activities

• The strike mission "Strange Terrain".
• Public events: "Warsat Down", "Witch's Ritual" and Escalation Protocol.
• The Ma'adim Subterrane Lost Sector.

Hellas Basin was vaulted when Beyond Light launched, so this is legacy content.
