Gilded Treasure

Overview

Gilded Treasure is a Triumph that is completed by collecting all nine golden region chests in Pale Heart. The objective counts chests found out of nine. Completing the triumph awards 30 score.

How to complete

The nine chests are spread across three areas of Pale Heart, three per area. Each one is found by following a landmark from the spawn point.

Landing Zone

1. Chest 1: from the spawn, head north toward the waterfall, take the path at the top to a small facility, and climb the rock platforms to the chest.
2. Chest 2: from the waterfall, head northwest past the stitching chest toward the left wing of the giant eagle structure. Drop into the small cave below and follow the path down.
3. Chest 3: leave the cave by its far side, go straight past the bridge toward the lion structure, then drop down the cliff path on the far right edge. Head left; the chest is beside a waterfall.

Blooming

1. Chest 4: from the spawn, follow the white light beam of the Excision mission to a small cave entrance below. Go through to the outside, take the first left, and climb the rocks.
2. Chest 5: from the spawn, head right toward the large Taken sphere. The chest sits on top of a tree with branches on the left. There is no footing on the tree, so land directly on the chest or you will fall.
3. Chest 6: from the tree, head northeast toward the same Taken sphere at the cliff edge. The chest is tucked between walls.

Impass

1. Chest 7: from the spawn, head northwest toward the large Taken sphere and take the last left before reaching it. Continue straight, then enter the small wall opening above on the left.
2. Chest 8: from the spawn, head backward and look down for a path below the surface. The chest is visible from a distance.
3. Chest 9: return to the surface and head north toward the red-white temple. The chest is on top of the temple.

Tips: the chests are easier to find with a map pin set on each landmark than by searching the whole area. Each chest also drops Lost Encryption bits. The other six bits needed for the Khvostov come from Cyst missions, which unlock after the Alone in the Dark quest.

Rewards

Collecting all nine chests completes the triumph and grants nine Lost Encryption bits.
