Generator Core

Overview

The Generator Core is the device that the Rift Generator public event centers on. It is found in the Dreaming City, accessible from The Strand. Guardians must stop the Scorn from disrupting an Awoken device that would otherwise open a rift into the Ascendant Realm.

Scorn attack the generator in three waves, each from a different direction. Players defend the core from damage, and the event is completed if the timer runs out while the core is still active.

Integrity

Core integrity is shown as a percentage during the event. Abominations appear among the waves, and defeating one drops a charge that restores some of the core's integrity. In Heroic mode, Taken Wizards that spawn after the blights are defeated deal heavy damage to the core, and Heroic blights do not spawn while core integrity is below 50%.
