Rift Generator

The Rift Generator is a public event in the Dreaming City, commonly appearing in The Strand. The event has three waves, each arriving from its own direction, and it ends after the final wave. Scorn enemies try to destroy the generator.

Core repair

The generator's core is repaired with Awoken Charges, which Ether Abominations drop.

Heroic variant

In Heroic mode, Taken blights also appear near the end of each wave. Players destroy three blights, which spawn in the same passages the Scorn use; blights do not spawn if Core integrity is below 50%. After all three die, three Taken Wizards spawn and damage the Core heavily. Defeating them sends players to the Ascendant Plane to fight Vakarsik, Grasp of Quria.

Jump Starter

The Jump Starter triumph is tied to this event.
