Overview
Gazing Into The Abyss is a New Light quest from Ikora Rey that unlocks the Void subclasses, added in Season 12 (Season of the Chosen) per Destiny Game Wiki. It requires A Guardian Rises first. Roughly 30 minutes.
Walkthrough
- "The Hunger": earn Void Light points by generating Orbs of Power (casting your Super makes them) and defeating combatants. Void damage earns substantially more points. Destiny Game Wiki lists 1,000 Void points, 10 Orbs and 25,000 XP, while the current in-game text shows 1,000 Void points and 3 Orbs, so requirements were changed after the original release.
- "Insatiable": speak to Ikora Rey in the Tower.
Rewards
- Sentinel (Titan), Nightstalker (Hunter) and Voidwalker (Warlock) subclasses
- Emblems: Sentinel's Shove, Stalker's Shot, Walker's Warp
Trivia
- Not to be confused with the exotic quest Into the Abyss.
