Details
Start point	Awaken your latent power of [Void] Void Light by generating Orbs of Power and defeating combatants to earn points; using [Void] damage grants substantially more points. Orbs of Power can be generated by casting your Super. Energy weapons deal elemental damage. Void element weapons can be identified by selecting them in your Character screen and looking for the [Void] symbol.

Gazing Into The Abyss is a New Light quest from Ikora Rey that unlocks the Void subclasses, added in Season 12 (Season of the Chosen). It requires A Guardian Rises first. Roughly 30 minutes.

"The Hunger": earn Void Light points by generating Orbs of Power (casting your Super makes them) and defeating combatants. Void damage earns substantially more points. Earlier versions required 1,000 Void points, 10 Orbs of Power and 25,000 XP; the current in-game text shows 1,000 Void points and 3 Orbs of Power.
"Insatiable": speak to Ikora Rey in the Tower.
