Forensic Nightmare is a Legendary Stasis Submachine Gun with a Precision Frame at 600 RPM, introduced in The Witch Queen. Its origin trait is Psychohack. Column 1 can roll Grave Robber, Perpetual Motion or Slideways; column 2 can roll Sympathetic Arsenal, Headstone, Kill Clip or Harmony.

The weapon is a quest reward from Fynch in Savathûn's Throne World after completing "The Gift of Appreciation". It can also drop from Throne World engrams. Its weapon pattern unlocks after three Deepsight Resonance extractions on the weapon. The "Chief Investigator" triumph does not reward it; that triumph gives the Fundament Shell.
