History of Finality's Auger Catalyst

Overview

Finality's Auger Catalyst is a Triumph that requires 400 targets defeated with the Finality's Auger exotic fusion rifle. The catalyst itself comes from The Drowning Labyrinth quest in the Sundered Doctrine dungeon, and it gives the weapon the Bait and Switch perk. No points are listed for this triumph.

How to complete

1. Get the weapon. Finality's Auger drops from the Sundered Doctrine dungeon and cannot be crafted. The weapon drops at random from the dungeon, and completing dungeon triumphs can raise the drop rate.
2. Start the Drowning Labyrinth quest by clearing Sundered Doctrine once.
3. Find the nine hidden Hive Worms across the dungeon. Enter the symbol code tied to each Worm into the pyramid machinery.
4. Complete the puzzle steps, such as defeating enemies, collecting Knowledge Fragments and aligning the lenses that open hidden doors.
5. Clear Sundered Doctrine at least three times. Each run advances the quest.
6. After the final boss, open the secret room and its last chest to receive the Exotic Catalyst.
7. Equip the catalyst and defeat 400 targets with Finality's Auger to complete the triumph.

Perks

The catalyst gives Finality's Auger the Bait and Switch perk, which gives the weapon a damage boost when you deal damage with all equipped weapons within a short time window.
