Filamental Mastery

Overview

Filamental Mastery is a Triumph in Destiny 2 worth 10 points. It is completed by unlocking every Strand upgrade on a single character: two Aspects, three Grenades and fourteen Fragments.

How to complete

1. Finish the Lightfall campaign, speak with Nimbus and go to the Pouka Pond in the Hall of Heroes. Strand is unlocked there.
2. Start with two Aspects, the Grapple grenade, your class's melee, and one Fragment. Everything else must be bought or unlocked.
3. Spend Strand Meditations at the Pouka Pond to buy the rest. You receive 500 after the campaign.
4. Get extra Meditations from the weekly Nimbus activity (200) and Partition (250), and from the second chest of Terminal Overload (75). Patrols, Lost Sectors and Heroic Public Events also give Meditations.
5. Claim the quest-locked Aspects for free. Complete the "Parting the Veil" quest from Nimbus for the Season of the Deep Aspects. For the Season of the Witch Aspects, take the "Unveiled" quest, run the Veil Containment activity in the bottom-left of Neomuna, listen to the audio log, then claim the Aspect at the Pouka Pond.
6. Unlocks are per character. Aspects that quests unlock are account-wide, so other characters who have finished the campaign can claim them free.

Aspects, grenades and fragments

Each class has two Aspects. The Titan Aspects are Into the Fray and Drengr's Lash, the Hunter Aspects are Ensnaring Slam and Widow's Silk, and the Warlock Aspects are Weaver's Call and Mindspun Invocation. The Strand grenades are Grapple plus the Threadling and Shackle grenades. The 14 Fragments are usable by every class.
