History of Faction Rally

A Faction Rally was a week-long Destiny 2 event in which Guardians pledged to Dead Orbit, Future War Cult or New Monarchy.

Overview

Guardians earned faction tokens from strikes, Crucible matches, public events and Lost Sectors, and traded them to Arach Jalaal, Lakshmi-2 or Executor Hideo for engrams such as the Dead Orbit Engram. The faction with the most tokens won; its weapon then sold for 1,000 Glimmer to its pledges and 50,000 to others.

Winners

Dead Orbit won the first rally, with the Scout Rifle Haunted Earth. New Monarchy is the most frequent winner, with 4 of 8 across Seasons 1 to 3. Faction weapons such as Hollow Earth (Dead Orbit) and Legal Action II (New Monarchy) came from the faction vendors.

Removal

Rallies ended after Season 3; Luke Smith said they did not drive engagement.
