History of Exotic class item

Exotic class items arrived with The Final Shape. Rather than a fixed Exotic perk, each one combines two "Spirit of" aspects from two different Exotics. Each item has two perk columns of eight options, and both perks work only while a Prismatic subclass is equipped.

Perks

Column 1 offers Spirit of the Assassin, Star Eater, Inmost Light, Synthoceps, Ophidian, Verity, Dragon and Cyrtarachne. Column 2 offers Spirit of Galanor, Gyrfalcon, Foetracer, Liar, Caliban, Wormhusk, Renewal and Coyote.

Example: Relativism

Relativism is a Hunter cloak. It is unlocked by completing the Dual Destiny mission, after which it can drop from activities in The Pale Heart, from chests there, and from Final Shape story missions on Cooperative Focus. Xûr also sells it for 41 Strange Coins.
