Strange Coin

Overview

Strange Coins are a currency ("warm to the touch and vibrating gently"). They have been spent on gear from Xur, and in the 30th Anniversary Pack on bounties from Starhorse. They drop from ritual activities, Iron Banner and Trials of Osiris, and also reward the The Final Days quests.

Use

Since The Final Shape, spending Strange Coins raises reputation with Xûr and unlocks a stackable "Strange Favor" buff that increases the chance of bonus coins. See also Dares of Eternity.
