History of Europa Helm

Overview

Europa Helm is a Beyond Light side quest given by Variks the Loyal on Europa. You find Stasis-sealed chests that each hold a piece of Aged Armor, then return to Variks, who identifies it as a helm piece of the Crystocrene armor set. Takes roughly 10 to 20 minutes.

Walkthrough

1. Speak to Variks the Loyal and equip a Stasis subclass.
2. Open the sealed chest in Nexus.
3. Open the two sealed chests in Well of Infinitude (counts 0/2). One guide says the helm also requires Empire Hunt missions.
4. Return to Variks the Loyal for the helmet.

Notes

• Sealed chests only open while a Stasis subclass is equipped (shown by the blue shield icon on the chest).
• Reported unlock timing varies (2020): some guides say the quests unlock after the Splinterer Darkness communion in the campaign, others after the campaign is finished (defeating Eramis). Finishing the campaign is the safe route.

Rewards

• One helm piece of the Crystocrene armor set (Legendary). Hunter: Cowl; Titan: Helm; Warlock: Hood.
