Nexus

Overview

The Nexus is the name of two things in Destiny.

The Nexus is a Level 14 Strike set on Venus in the base game of Destiny. The fireteam must defeat Sekrion, Nexus Mind, the Vex mind that is turning the planet into another node of the Vex network. It is a 1 to 3 player strike. During the Dawning event it was revamped with a higher light level, updated boss mechanics and a Taken variant, Sekrion, Subverted Mind.

The Nexus is also another name for the Vex Network, a trans-dimensional, trans-temporal, supercomputer-like network where the Vex operate. Its Transfer Gates across the solar system and Vex worlds lead to it, and the Vex aim to fold it and themselves into the fabric of the universe.
