Ether Ritual

Overview

The Ether Ritual is a public event in which Guardians stop the Scorn from transferring Dark Ether. It appears in Savathûn's Throne World, including Miasma, and in the Dreaming City. Sources list different Throne World areas for it.

Standard event

Waves of Scorn led by Dredge Chieftains appear around three emitters on an Ether Harvester. Each defeated Chieftain releases Dark Ether toward the harvester. Once the clouds are absorbed, the Ether Abomination appears, and defeating it completes the event.

Heroic version

Shoot the Ether clouds before they reach the harvester. The final enemy is then a giant Chieftain instead of the Abomination. In Savathûn's Throne World it is Ksimikaa the Painsmith. Reported details of the heroic trigger differ between sources.
