Empire Hunt: The Technocrat

Overview

Empire Hunt: The Technocrat is one of three Empire Hunt missions on Europa from Beyond Light, given by Variks, the Loyal. You hunt Praksis, the Technocrat, a lieutenant of Eramis. Unlock all three after the Beyond Light campaign; Herealways Pieces (from patrols, bounties and public events on Europa) are consumed to start them. Difficulties: Hero, Legend, Master and Adept. Sabotage quests with Variks reduce costs.

Encounter

Minimum 1120 power at the time, entered via Bray Exoscience. Fight waves of Fallen, then Praksis, who uses Stasis attacks and spawns shield generators to destroy (2 at 75% health, 3 at 50%, 4 at 25% per Prima snippet). An arena pool grants Stasis power; swords work well.

Rewards

Drops the Coriolis Force fusion rifle. The exotic sniper rifle Cloudstrike can drop from the weekly Empire Hunt. Since 22 February 2022 they no longer award Powerful or Pinnacle gear.
