Eater of Light

Eater of Light is a Taken enemy, a variant of the Taken Captain that helps maintain the shield generators in The Hollow, Part I.

Role

You defeat Eaters of Light until they drop enough Motes of Light, then deposit the motes at the fount of Darkness to disable one shield generator. Guides report different mote counts (four to six). Eaters of Light return later in the fight against Korha, the Hollow, when his Immunity Shield must be removed with the same mote process.

The Eaters first appeared in The Final Shape and were later renamed Drinker of Light.
