History of Duty Bound (Adept)

Overview

Duty Bound (Adept) is a Legendary Auto Rifle of the Kinetic element with an Adaptive Frame intrinsic. Its flavor text reads: "Due respect, Commander? I was there when the Hive found us on Earth. I was there when we stopped them on Titan. And I'll be there when we wipe them out." —Sloane

As an Adept weapon, it has a different mod set and extra Masterwork stats compared with the standard version.

Acquisition

The item data lists the Adept version as a Grandmaster Nightfall reward from Season of the Risen. The same Grandmaster rotation also featured Duty Bound during Season of the Haunted (Season 17), so the Adept version has been available in more than one season. Its weekly availability and drop rates depend on the rotation in each season.
