History of Duality Catalyst

Overview

The Duality Catalyst is a triumph obtained from the Walk the Line triumph. It requires the player to defeat 400 combatants using the Duality Exotic Grenade Launcher. Completing this triumph awards no additional rewards beyond the triumph itself.

How to complete

To complete the Duality Catalyst, the player must acquire the Duality Exotic Grenade Launcher. This weapon is obtained by completing the Walk the Line triumph, which involves navigating the Duality Exotic mission in the Dreaming City.

Once equipped, the player must defeat enemies using the Duality Grenade Launcher. The triumph tracks the total number of targets defeated with this specific weapon. The objective requires 400 targets to be defeated. The player can defeat combatants in any activity where the weapon is usable, including Strikes, Crucible, Gambit, and Dungeons. The weapon's Void element damage contributes to the count.

The triumph progress is cumulative. Defeating enemies with the Duality Grenade Launcher in any game mode will increment the counter. The player does not need to complete specific missions or activities, only defeat the required number of targets. The triumph is completed when the counter reaches 400.
