Duality Catalyst

Overview

The Duality Catalyst is a Triumph that comes from the Walk the Line quest for Duality, a Solar Shotgun Exotic. It asks for 400 kills with Duality. Completing the catalyst also brings the weapon's Masterwork bonuses: +20 range and +2 magazine size.

How to complete

1. Get Duality. It was offered on the Season of the Hunt season pass, premium from rank 1 and free from rank 35.
2. Talk to Banshee-44 in the Tower to start Walk the Line.
3. Earn 300 points of calibration progress. Calibration comes from completing Ops, Strikes, Nightfalls, Gambit and Crucible. Gambit and Crucible wins and beating Nightfall: The Ordeal give the most progress.
4. Get 50 kills against enemy Guardians with Duality.
5. Get 100 kills with Duality's slug fire. Aim down sights for these, since hip-fired pellets do not count.
6. Return to Banshee-44 to claim the catalyst.
7. Get 400 kills with Duality to complete this triumph.

Tips

• Steps 4 and 5 can be done at the same time, so combine them with your normal fights.
• Team up with friends for calibration. Group play speeds it up.
• Orbs of Power generate on multikills with the Masterwork.
