Disk Cleanup

Overview

Disk Cleanup is a Triumph in Destiny 2 that requires completing all Partitions: Partition: Ordnance, Partition: Hard Reset and Partition: Backdoor. It awards 25 Score. Partitions are weekly endgame activities in Neomuna.

How to complete

1. Unlock Partition. Finish the Lightfall campaign, then complete the Hall of Heroes quests from Quinn up to the Bluejay quest, which introduces Partition. GGRecon notes that Partition does not become available right after the campaign.
2. Get a Polymorphic Shellcode. The portal needs one, and it comes from Nimbus's weekly bounty. That bounty asks for 8 Shellcode Fragments from Vex enemies in the Incursion Zone, plus a Polymorphic Engine from a Terminal Overload key chest.
3. Open the Partition portal shown on your map in the Incursion Zone for the variant that is active this week. The variant rotates weekly, so you finish each of the three in its own week.
4. Complete each variant:

• Hard Reset: race the clock on your Sparrow to find and disarm bombs placed by the Shadow Legion. Ignore most fights to reach the bombs. After you damage the bomber boss, disarm the next bomb quickly.
• Backdoor: fight waves of powerful Vex. Defeated enemies drop Logic Bombs, which you throw at Vex Firewalls. The final Wyvern is protected by a shield that breaks when you hit it with more Logic Bombs.

Rewards

Your first completion of Partition each week awards a piece of Pinnacle gear.

Tips

• Use the Partition modifiers when you build your loadout. The activity is level 1790 and the modifiers make it harder.
• In Hard Reset, reach the bombs before you clear enemies along the way.
• In Backdoor, collect the Logic Bombs as they drop. Save them for the Firewalls and the Wyvern's shield.
