Overview
Destiny 2: The Witch Queen is an expansion released February 22, 2022, set in Savathûn's Throne World above Mars. Savathûn has gained the Light and created the Lucent Brood; the Guardian investigates how. The swamp setting was inspired by True Detective.

- Campaign missions with a Legendary difficulty variant (hard for solo players, better rewards).
- Weapon crafting: gather patterns and craft weapons with chosen perks.
- New Glaive weapon type.
- Vow of the Disciple raid (March 5, 2022), set in a Darkness Pyramid against Rhulk.
