History of Destiny 2: Renegades

Overview

Destiny 2: Renegades is the tenth and final expansion for Destiny 2, released on December 2, 2025 for PlayStation, Xbox and Windows. Its Star Wars-inspired campaign follows the Guardian alongside the Drifter, Eris Morn, Eido and Praxic Order Warlock Aunor as they fight the Barant Imperium, a Cabal faction led by Dredgen Bael. The crew operates outside the Vanguard's direct support from the Tharsis Cantina on Mars.

• Three rival Syndicate factions: the Pikers, the Totality Division and the Tharsis Reformation, each with Renegade Abilities.
• The Invasion opt-in PvP feature.
• The exotic mission Fire and Ice, rewarding the Praxic Blade.
• The Equilibrium dungeon on Venus.
• The story ends with stopping Bael's superweapon, Nightfall Station, from reaching the Last City.
