Crucible Tokens

Overview

Crucible Tokens were earned by playing Crucible matches and spent with Lord Shaxx. In the older token system, 20 tokens bought a purple legendary engram, which could hold faction gear such as the Martyr's Make auto rifle, class armor, shards or shaders.

Current system

Bungie replaced the token system with Seasonal Crucible Ranks. Leveling up gives a mix of Crucible Tokens, Crucible Engrams and Enhancement Cores, and rewards are claimed from Shaxx. Claiming the Ascendant Shard resets the rank. Current availability of Martyr's Make from Shaxx was not confirmed by the sources.
