History of Circle of Bones

Overview

The Circle of Bones is a location on The Moon in the Ocean of Storms that overlooks the pit of the Hellmouth. It serves as a central logistics nexus for the Hive stronghold there. Eris Morn starts Symphony of Death here, and the Aria is survived in the final steps.

Connections

The area connects to the Hall of Wisdom, The Gatehouse, The Summoning Pits, World's Grave and, in Destiny 2, Catacombs. It is on the route toward the Chamber of Night.

Appearances

The location first appeared in Destiny (the Blood of Oryx and Spawn of Crota era), returned in House of Wolves and The Taken King, and appears in Destiny 2 in Shadowkeep.
