Cassoid

Overview

Cassoid is a weapon foundry in the Last City. It produced many rare weapons in Destiny 1 alongside Nadir, and in Destiny 2 it is the source of named weapons such as Telesto and Eriana's Vow. Banshee-44 is its listed client.

Naming pattern

Cassoid weapons follow the form weapon designation + word + Roman numeral (for example Nox Cantor V). The first word identifies the weapon type:

• Ros: auto rifles
• Psi: pulse rifles
• Trax: scout rifles
• Nox: fusion rifles
• Luna: sniper rifles
• Para: grenade launchers
• Ded: shotguns
• Mos: hand cannons and rocket launchers

Modified or exotic weapons can break the pattern. Malediction is one example.
