History of Bushido Grips

Overview

Bushido Grips are Legendary Hunter Gauntlets armor, part of the Bushido set. Their flavor text reads: "Cut through."

The Bushido armor set gives two bonuses. Two pieces grant Iaido, so final blows with freshly drawn or reloaded weapons heal you. Four pieces grant Unfaltering Focus, so Bow, Shotgun or Sword final blows temporarily reduce incoming damage, and damaging targets with those weapons extends the effect.

Acquisition

Bushido pieces drop randomly from Contest of Elders, Heliostat, Presage and The Coil while their Pinnacle Ops rotation is active, and Encore is the mission most often named. June 2026 guides disagree on the route: one says the full set can be bought from Zavala at the Tower under Focused Decoding, Armor, for 1 Vanguard Engram, 3 Vanguard Ciphers and 15,000 Glimmer per piece, while another says the set is a Portal set that Zavala does not sell.
