Combat Bow

Overview

Combat Bows (usually just "Bows") are primary weapons introduced in Destiny 2: Forsaken. They sit between Scout Rifles and Sniper Rifles in role: a long-range, patient single-target weapon.

Mechanics

Instead of a rate of fire, a Bow uses a draw time. The player holds the trigger to draw and releases to loose the arrow. Releasing early reduces damage, and a draw can be cancelled with the reload command.

Notes

Bows are used by guardians and by some enemies; Exotic Bows such as Verglas Curve appeared in Season of Defiance.
